All coaches must complete and pass Risk Management in order to eligible to coach in the HBC Soccer Club. This is done through an agency contracted by Eastern New York Youth Soccer and has nothing to do with the HBC Soccer Club.
Click RISK MANAGEMENT and you will be brought to the website, register and complete the form. If you are accepted, you will receive an email within a day or two stating that you "have been accepted". This message must be printed out and submitted to Seth Patlin, the HBC Soccer Club Intramural Director at sethpatlin@optonline.net.
ENYYSA will contact you if your background check reports either a criminal record or does not verify your personal information. During the time it takes to communicate with you to obtain the correct information, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCCER ACTIVITIES. Therefore, you are advised to CAREFULLY review the information you are submitting.
As a part of the application process you will be asked to provide some personal information (social security number, drivers license number). While the website is a secure as possible, ENYYSA recognizes that not everyone wants to go through their on-line risk management registration system. If that is the case, click on the following link and follow the directions. Note that neither Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association or the HBC Soccer Club will assist you with this process http://www.enysoccer.com/docs/Risk/Microsoft%20Word%20-%20alternateprocesseny.pdf
Any coach that does not submit this before the START game of the season (April 11, 2010) will be suspended until it has been received. Coaches who have a travel pass with our club have already completed Risk Management and do not need to do again. Please contact Seth to inform him that you are a travel coach. He will confirm with the HBC Travel Registrar.
